i have uploaded what i am calling the vundo ep, it's a few tracks that i have worked on recently.
i decide to do this b/c it looks like i am gonna lose internet for a while in a few weeks due to moving house but will get back online asap.
there is only 1 totally original track and i'm not sure i like the mix now but the other tracks are fun.

not certain it deserves a proper DV release!

Some of you may know but I was over visiting the Irish indie record label "Dark World International' (http://www.darkworld.com/) last week for discussion on a few things and while it is a bit early to reveal what these discussions in more detail, I spent part of the time there doing some Improvisations in their studios and we came out with six noisy but fun filled tracks.

One of these, probably the most radio friendly I believe oddly enough is going up on I tunes soon, but the other five have all appeared on their website which can be accessed here..

"This selection, culled from three years (2004-06) worth of offcuts, sound experiments, lost songs and general oddities, was originally going to be made available as a limited edition of 50 C-40 cassettes but was shelved before ever being revealed due to problems with dubbing such a quantity of tapes without proper equipment. This is the reason the two completed tracks both last 19 minutes and 54 seconds as they were originally designed to fit onto two sides of a cassette.

The inspiration for this project (both in the nature of the album itself and in the less-than-slick mixing - no Ableton Live here!) is clearly The Faust Tapes, although the precise ordering of the pieces was decided by assigning every section a number and then drawing cards at random from the major arcana of a tarot deck." - Thee Crumb

Just confirmed with the Australian tape label Smell The Stench that I'll be doing some ambient drones to be released onto a 1-sided C-90 tape in an edition of either 40 or 50, I'm not quite sure of that yet. Artwork will be black and white on green paper, like CBML3. The working title is 'Unexpected Serenity', although that's very much TBC. The audio will be part-improvised/part-"process" ambient drones, much in the same style as the 18/12/06 audio previously available online. STS is technically a noise label though, so I might add a bit of distortion and noise here and there. I might even ask for (a) remix(es), I don't know yet. Depends how much material I can generate. More news as it comes.
