Hey,
For those of you wondering where we'd gone(!) we're both really busy and don't get time to write that much nowadays. However, that does NOT mean we're calling it quits; hell as I write this I'm bastardising the voice of the oh-so-lovely Shiela Chandra from monsoon and hammering it into hardcore music.
We've released a couple of new things over the internet over at http://myspace.com/felixhelixmusic (angelus and crapstep are my babies) and are probably going to be trying our hand at some acid techno sometime in the autumn as a 2 man unit.
Furthermore, an "EP/collection of a few tracks whose play time is not greater than 30 minutes" is on the cards, more about that when I know what the hell is going on.

I'm also on holiday at the moment, if Digital vomit want anything contributing etc, the please send us a shout, I'll be more than happy to see what I can do.
Also- we have a facebook page now. Like it if you want to, and visit it even if you don't intend to :p
here:
http://en-gb.facebook.com/pages/Felix-Helix/127116857331983
TLDR: WATCH SPACE NOT DEAD MORE MUSIC AND STUFF IN PIPELINE IF ANYONE WANTS A DV SUBMISSION YELL OUR WAY.
Thanks guys and Regards.

Hey everyone, inspired by the DV ambient comp, I've just completed and uploaded an ambient mix, with some DV tracks from that comp and a few other DV releases, alongside stuff from Kompakt, Leyland Kirby, Piano Magic and a bunch of other stuff.

In terms of putting the mix together, I haven't pitch shifted anything, so everything that's more or less in key was sorted manually with a whole lot of trial and error (which took forever). There's also very minimal timestretching in a few places to get things to stick together but mostly I've just layered up a whole load of stuff and let it do its thing.

You can listen to it and download it here: http://www.weplaymusic.co.uk/archives/171

I know, most of you are not living close nearby enough to actually be able to come, but anyways, i thought i let you know that, after finally having my master degree in communication and also turning the big 3 5 last year, i am organizing a big party here in Vienna.
so if you've always wanted to see vienna in winter, time your trip around the 15th of jan. ;)

A Light at the End of the Orgy…
3raum, Arena Wien 15.01.10 21h

Breakcore/Drum and Bass/Dub/IDM

Live:
- HECATE
(Belphegor Sukkubus) Berlin - ZHARK INT
- TOMOROH HIDARI
(Master of ‘Pataphysics) Vienna – Record Label Records

- DEATH IS NOT A COLOR (Digital epileptic breaks-metal) Vienna
- BOBBY VELVET (US/A) (a’capella from hell) Vienna
- DYSTOPIAN DUB DEVELOPMENTS (Death Reggae and Glitchy Doom Dub) Vienna

DJs:
BITKID Vienna; ADAM STRANG Vienna

…to celebrate 35 years of Tomoroh Hidari (NEW: now with Mag.Phil.!)

DEATH IS NOT A COLOR (AT)
Epileptic breaks meet with monolithic bass to beat down a pack of lowlife ravesynths
drumandbass or something of the like.sometimes leans more towards breakcore, then again back to drumandbass. sometimes gets recognised as digitzed metal.
http://deathisnotacolor.org

BOBBY VELVET (US/A)
A`capella from hell…
Bobby Velvet, the US anarcho-crooner, found himself lost in Vienna at some point, where he decided to take a loopstation, microphone and don his ancient ritual gown, to please us with his sonic assaults.

HECATE (US)
As Head Mistress of Zhark International, Hecate has been responsible for relentlessly fostering and producing the most evil breaks and noise since 1996. Besides being named "most prolific female producer" in hard electronic music, she has broadened her scope of damage to genres including Death and Black Metal in recent years.
http://myspace.com/hecate
http://zhark.org/home.php

TOMOROH HIDARI
Savant-terrible and probably not the head and bottom of the Delusory ´Pataphysical Institute of Whateverism. Maketh electronic music and claims to be the instigator of Fringe-Core. Anyway, nothing that can be written about him, can prepare you for his musick. But you can listen on fine releases on labels such as: Isolate und Record Label Records, zhark, etc.
So better not mention the war and overcome to enjoy a special celebrations live-set, which should include some friends, and will lead on to a special live-jam session by Dystopian Dub Developments.
http://tomoroh.com
http://www.digitalvomit.com/dvr042

DYSTOPIAN DUB DEVELOPMENTS (AT)
Nietzschean Jam Collective, who are said to play death-reggae as well as anything that happens, and that might be called Dub/Doom/Kraut/Drone/’pata-Music. Including, but not limited to: Alive, Adam Strang, Death is Not A Color, DFKT, Emerson Spitfire, Mario Stereo, Tomoroh Hidari and Umberto Gollini on the Guestlist.
http://www.myspace.com/dystopiandubdevelopments

Djs: Adam Strang: http://www.myspace.com/adamstrang
Bitkid: http://www.bitkid.com/
