Hi.

My idea was to post some of them, to "publicize" the release and bring more people here to get it.

If you can host it, that'd be great, I don't really know anything in that department. Archive is the by default thing, I suppose.

I was thinking about the release code number. I'll take DVR099, if that's cool. If not, I'll take any other that's not been used, like DVR053, or any other between DVR054 and DVR064.

Looks like a pretty chewy tail. But it also looks like it would taste really bad.

UPDATE: Well, this is almost done. At the moment I have all planned tracks except for 3 (which hopefully I will get soon).

Tracks are by: Nosens, Walk Don't Walk, Alien Hand, ANE, Ana Al Piano, SHORAI, Tomoroh Hidari, M-ental Distortion, AZ-Rotator, Trash van Traxxx, Surachai, Dr Chi, Desper, Jansky Noise, Hardoff, Akani and Kayaka.

I was thinking of posting some or all of them on soundcloud, but wanted to see what people think of that, maybe some don't like the idea and think that it's better just to have them available here. I'm kind of ambivalent on this.

Oh, and artwork is also partly done!

you can post it here if you want, though I understand the concern expressed here that doing that spoils the thing a little bit (as in people downloading the tracks as they come for fear that the project never completes…)

well, yeah… i probably just check it out again. i only remember, way back when i discovered the narrenturm, there was a note next to the door that the exhibition was only to be seen by previous appointment. good chance they may have regular visiting hours nowadays… the rest is due to my ass being in somewhat differing degrees of lazy states most of the time…:)

even though i live in vienna, and been outside of the narrenturm a couple of times (if memory serves me right, i should somewhere even have pix of when i was there with hardoff, once he was visiting…)i've never been inside… and it's not for lack of wanting to go, but due to lazyness and the fact, that you have to organise visits in advance (unless that has changed)…

anyway, i'm up to do a track for this comp, and maybe, but no promise, might finally go visit the narrenturm. if i do so, i'll see if i can do some exclusive pictures….

A celebration of deviationism, mutation and the beauty of genetic error.

Just an idea for a new comp (it's been a while since the Dildonomicon thing).

It's about this museum in Vienna. I've never been there but have a leaflet a friend of mine who visited the museum brought me once. I have seen the website (http://www.narrenturm.at/), though… I'd write some blurb about it to convince people about the artistry and grace of the idea, but I'm busy being lazy, so I'll spare you my glaring prose.

The (general) idea is to make beautiful mutant tracks. as in WTF was that! (but so repelling and outlandish it's beautiful).

I'll try to hook up with the CockRockDisco dudes, so we can do it á la Dildonomicon.
