Digital Vomit Records

I managed to complete the RPM Challenge again this year and I've now posted the results on my Last.fm page and also at my blog.

It's titled Hic Sunt Dracones and is a 14-track collection "and sounds ravey. It's a ravey album that bludgeons you over the head with its stick of 1988 Romford, Blackpool and Philadelphia rock. It is an insane album."

(Cough) actually, that was some rubbish or other that Mike Skinner posted online about the new Streets album. Mine just sounds like most of my other stuff. Only better. In places.

There's also a 28-second version of one of the tracks online as well that was made for this.

Great album, very atmospheric, with a good blend of agitating spikey bits and flowing melodies with a little bit of a psychedelic jazz feel. Reminds me of classic mid-90s electronica mixed with some of the newer Brian Eno albums. Are you going to put this out under a DV number?

You may be a fellow Norman Mr Crumb, but there's no need to go stealing my non-de-plume surname as wll '-)

Keith - I actually never even thought about that until you pointed it out - as Hic Sunt Dracones means 'Here be Dragons' in Latin does this mean you really should be called Keith Here?

iivix - Cheers, glad you like it - at the moment it looks like it's going to show up on Hallo-Excentrico! to stand alongside the other two RPM albums. I may have something that might come out on DigiVom in the near future as I did a pile of stuff at the end of last year that I'd like to get out there before I do anything else.

keith here, just doesn't have quite the same ring. But on another syncronisity point: don't forget i'm married to UKDragon.

So: "Hic includes dragons" is indeed correct. (I think i might have to get a new logo - maybe a flag or a coat of arms)
