now available. check our new releases. download it.
the DV winning streak continues….this year has seen some of our best releases ever, and i believe Amarok is indeed one of the finest yet.
Wow, what an excellent run of releases.
Loving Frater Hater's bizarre demonic cartoon grindcore.
Loving Jansky Noise's beautifully atmospheric release.
Loving n.sound's ecletic mix of electronica, songs and other bits and bobs.
Loving Eustachian's extreme noisecore
Honestly, what a great selection. I think what I like the most is that through all of these releases you're really kept on your toes, because there's a surprise around every corner. Superb stuff, just an awesome mix of low-fi and high production, extreme noise and great tunes, pleasing and antagonising, really what all great music should be.
Files are password protected - any ideas?
Hmm, are they? Worked fine for me unpacking with WinRAR, though there was a lot of crap in there, with the album folder in a folder in a folder.
Edited to add: Oh look, a pimping star has appeared next to my name, I guess that means I'm now king of wikidot
I've downloaded it twice now, in case the files hadn't come up correctly the first time, and tried unzipping it with both of the programs I'd usually use (I don't have WinRAR) and it extracts everything else but no music files - it either asks for passwords or returns error messages. So I dunno…
works fine for me (aside from the extra empty folder)….
I couldn't open it properly with WinZip either, but I drilled down to the MP3's with Windows Explorer itself (right-click, Explore) and moved them elsewhere, which worked fine.
again, having given this album a proper listen, i gotta say i'm thrilled it's on DV. it's fucking GOOD.
please spam these new releases wherever you can, whether that includes starting threads at your favorite forum or simply commenting/bumping existing threads.
i honestly think we're having a bit of a renaissance here and should be proud of how damned excellent the recent slate has been.
Yeah, the ZIP's a bit of a mess, but the files are definetely in there. It extracted fine with WinRAR, although it did come up with a load of error messages for some reason. Not that it seemed to affect the extraction. I'll listen in the morning…
i'll ask matt hardoff to re-zip it….
should be fixed now//
matt hardoff thoroughly approves of the animal passions samples :)
also some of those massive kickdrum / cymbal hits are wicked.
holy crap….this was fast press:

notice the mention of DV…very nice.

Well, sorry to say, it ain't. All you've done is get rid of the empty folder - and it won't let me move any files, so Mitch's solution isn't working for me either.
Maybe somebody who's got these files up can re-up it somewhere else. I know I'm not the only person who's had trouble with this and, while it may sound like I'm moaning, it would be a real shame if people can't get hold of this simply because they can't get the files open.

Sure, I just downloaded it again and still got errors coming up from WinRAR, so I've rezipped it and uploaded to my hosting space here. I've updated the link on the release page too. Please let me know if this version works OK, but I don't see why it shouldn't.
Sorted - respect due…
I can't stop listening to this album… it's ridiculously good.
Looking at my site stats, this has already had over 450 downloads in the three weeks since it was released, pretty good going for an extreme noisefest like this, I guess a little bit of press from a local blog goes a long way.
