Alongside the destruction of all remaining copies of Very Unprofessional, I will be deleting Even Unprofessionaler from the internet next week. I did want to do it at midnight tonight, but I thought I'd better give people who don't already have it time to download it if they so wish.
You'd probably think I have absolutely nothing to lose from keeping it online, but the opposite is true. Mixomatosis is all but dead to me, and will only return for the occasional live performance outside the UK. The projects I'm working on now for Digital Vomit (Colo(u)rs, 8 Track Remind), the future plans with Bubblegunner and Dead Air Recordings, and of course the ever-expanding Za Ginipiggu, both in developing the live shows as well as establishing a sole-trading business to take the project to schools and colleges, mean so much more to me than Mixomatosis ever did. Keeping that project alive is virtually counter productive, as any effort put into Mixo is pretty much effort wasted these days, thus I want to strip back everything related to it, keeping online presence to the barest minimum (the Facebook group will be deleted and the MySpace will be drastically cut down). As long as the audio's still in the public domain, a clean break's impossible. That's why I'm deleting the album.
I'll be deleting Even Unprofessionaler on the 7th. Photos and video of the destruction of Very Unprofessional has been delayed, but will be made available directly.
