Digital Vomit Records

So many people have asked about doinging a second kids album, it would be rude not to (and over 7000 downloads in 2 months is just amazing).

So this is the offical launch / request for tracks. If you missed the last one, basic rules are write a track for children, it can be in your usual syle but please ensure that you coinsider the content suitable for childrens listening.

If possible target age of Kids should be 3-5 year olds (as cyan will be 3 by the time his is done).

Deadline provisioonally set at 16th July.
Go and spread the word - i'd like more people and more variety than even last time.

You know already Mr H, don't you that I will on-board with some of my kid's poems - I have got a few corkers wrote since the last album.. I am going to speak to my pal, Alex in Standing in the Distance and my mate, Misha from Pootosh to see if they want in on this… July is a good time for it, I think m8 too - gives people plenty off time I think….

im in for sure….i think it might go something like last time, i'll try and try to make something - then give up and then make it by accident.

im thinking of something very different this time though.

I'll definitely do a track (or two) this time round, should have really done something for the first one.

can i use samples from a song for children which is in Dutch?
I ask this because the language may be hard for you peeps to find out if it is childproof :P

yes you can use Dutch (or any other language) as long as you promise that it's not rude, frightning or other wise unfitting of a kids track, i'm pretty open to it.

and yes we can normally find someone to prove listen to it, just in case.

Send all tracks to my gmail account (keithhic at gmail dot com) - if you make it clear (int he subject) it a childrens track, that would be helpful.

It also works as my MSN passport if anyone wants / need to IM me - just set up trillain to cover both Msn and Yahoo accounts so should suffer less problems than we had before when chatting (Lee, Pidg).

We have a lodger at the moment who got a big kick out of the title Guide to Successful Party Training. He said, "you should do a second one called Everyone Loops." I said, "you know what, we are doing a second one; I'll have to suggest that." So there you are.

OK. My plan was: as of teh 16th July (today - so how's that for timing) to start pushing for tracks.

With a deadline of the begining (1st) of Sept.

17 tracks so far (would be more depends on correct count of 'Versions'.)

How long do I have, and Would a remix of 4:27 count, pursuant to what you mentioned in the other thread to me? The other track I'm doing is far from ready, so It's not really worth putting it on.

news, no. i've been busy and slacking on this. I need to promt a few people to get their tracks in if they are going to.
need to finsih my own track. but Clara has acover idea yesterday, so it's still slowly moving.

I've emailed home to remind mayself to do a blanket email to promt peeps tonight.
